Tetris: Who doesn’t love Tetris? The thinking man’s puzzle game, Tetris provides hours upon hours of entertainment that doesn’t make you feel like you’re wasting your brain on a shoot ‘em up game. It’s also one of the few Game Boy games that doesn’t suffer from the pixelated graphics.
Pokemon: Even if you never got into the card series, you’ll be able to appreciate the weird characters and fun challenges in one of Game Boy’s earliest hits. Find a color player and get blown away by the graphics that out some systems to shame.
Donkey Kong: Admittedly, this game works best on Nintendo 64 but it’s one of those classics you can’t help but love even on a 2″ square. Chase the villains and ride in the mine train. Brilliant!
